The Toyota Full Body Kit, like all the other such kits, is based on the premise that you can improve a car’s speed through aerodynamics, by lowering it. This forces the air to go up and over the car more efficiently. The kit focuses on the underside and the bottom half of the car, to the exclusion of other parts of the car that contribute to the ground effects.

Body kits are usually made of either urethane or fiberglass. Urethane doesn’t damage easily, being rugged and offering strong resistance to bumps. However a damaged urethane body cannot be repaired; it will have to be replaced.

Fiberglass costs less than urethane. It is a better option, too. Unlike urethane, it can be repaired if damaged. Also, it has a better finish, and paint looks better on it.
